Final Photos for Faded Glories, Hidden Pasts

These are the final prints I'll be using for my project. I made the notice board myself and just thought it was a more interesting way to display my photos rather than on boring mountboard or in frames. 

Hidden Pasts - Treasure

Here's another bunch of prints I've done using the Nikon FM2 with 35mm film. I've decided to change my idea and after this, the photographs I take aren't going to be of lots of objects but more of just one prime object that represents a key point in my life. I did a photoshoot the other day and haven't developed the film yet, but those pictures will represent a very recent and still very sore subject; love. I'll probably have those up by Tuesday but in the meantime, here are some photographs of some very personal and precious objects that are my treasures.

Sensory Overload

This is a project I finished a few weeks ago which involved us making a sculpture that was worn or made to fit the body using only the shapes circle, square and triangle. I'm so pleased with the way my sculpture turned out and have been dying to put up a picture! We did a photoshoot yesterday, 3 weeks AFTER we finished our sculptures, but with mine being made out of paper, it got easily damaged and from the weight of the paper itself, started to droop and hang down :( So here is a photo I took when I had finished my sculpture and also one from the shoot yesterday :)

Calke Abbey

On Monday 18th October I went to Calke Abbey, Ticknall, Derby on a college trip. It's not like any other stately home I've ever been to as it's very much kept in the state it was found in. It's full of all sorts of weird stuff and the family that lived there collected a lot of stuffed animals and deer heads. I really enjoyed looking around the place and thought it was beautiful! You weren't allowed to use flash and weren't allowed tripods so I couldn't take the best of quality photographs.

Here's some scannings I have made of some photography I did about 2 years ago. I used an old 35mm Pentax that I borrowed from the college photography department.
